Hi ladies, 10 weeks post A&PhD repair this week and been back to work on a phased return for 3 weeks, seems I now have thrush. Saw my gp yesterday who prescribed pessary and cream. I think I should have gone to her earlier as same symptoms but more itching now. Hopefully it won't last too long. Also today I have lower back ache, not sure what that's about but feels uncomfortable in the buttock area. Hope everyone else is recovering well.

I also had thrush though earlier at 5 weeks  - itching , but not the usual discharge. GP thought it was an infection as was red and hot at entrance but swab said thrush. She prescribed a one dose tablet and cream. It did seem to get worse before getting better. All fine now .

That's reassuring, roughly how long did it take. I think I've had this for a while if I'm honest but didn't do anything about it because the itching was not that bad. Should have gone to gp earlier.
