morning everyone!

ive been on 50mg for 3 days, yesterday was my third day and i felt so awful, was very close to giving up. Last night I halfed my dose to 25mg and ive finally had a full nights sleep! and ive woken up feeling much better! maybe 50mg was just too strong for me at the moment. If anyone else is struggling with 50mg maybe this is what you need to do to get your body used to it. hope this helps x

l hope that helps you. l started on 25 but feeling awful and no benefit so have just upped to 50. don't feel any worse on 50 . keep telling myself to be patient, everyone says it takes time and it is worth persevering and it will work.

in what way were you feeling awful? do you mean side effects or mood?

mood ok but l am suffering more from anxiety than depression. Side effects seem to be the problem, nausea not so bad but anxiety high and a head that feels heavy and pressurised. also have a permanent tired feeling but cant sleep. how are you now?

the headaches have been quite bad today but seem to go after i eat. and i havent felt sick, and havent been that anxious today, i feel more spaced out if anything. but my head does feel pressurised as well, kind of like im on a plane

l have improved as day has gone on. Like you the headache seemed to improve after l ate at lunchtime and the anxiety subsided but l have been left feeling feeling spaced out and head pressurised. wouldn't want to drive the car.

Last night, went to bed feeling ok, nausea back this morning and feeling quite low mood.

the nausea seems to have gone for me, today is day 5, I take the tablet at 10.30pm, takes me about an hour to dose off but once i do im asleep till the morning now, this is my first morning of being able to lay in as well! i slept 11 hours lol! i hope the good sleeping lasts because the first few days on 50mg i was only sleeping for 3 hours a night! the only side effect that ive seemed to have on 25mg is just feeling a bit anxious waking up and having not so nice headaches, also feeling a bit weird and spaced out

sounds an improvement for you. l could be suffering because of dose increase but doctor wants me to be on 50. head not quite so bad at the moment but nausea is horrendous. just trying to tell myself it will get better.

Nausea not quite so bad but l do have a heavy head and feel tired. Also feel anxious so have taken a couple of diazapam. Not easy but we must persevere, it's supposed to get better but it's not easy. l am struggling at the moment.

Wasn't very good this morning, had nausea, felt agitated and head felt pressurised. Started to improve at lunch time and have been better this evening. How are you today?

i literally havent had any side effects today at all, even after taking it at night i fell asleep like normal and didnt feel anything! do you think its because 25mg isnt enough? obviously im overjoyed that i feel ok! but are you meant to feel some side effects to know if its working!?

May be 25 is enough for you. If you are feeling ok l would stay on that dose. When are you due to see the doctor again? See what they suggest. l slept better last night but did take a phenergan. It's all about getting long term improvement that is important.
