Update! Finally saw Dr!

Hi Friends- I tried to post an uodate on hiw my Dr. Appt went, but moderator must have ditched- it? No idea why??

Anyway- I saw my Gyn’s partner for the first time since my diagnosis on 6/11. I wanted to hear the full report results and then get his take on LS. I had my two pages of notes from this forum and we discussed them. I brought my ingredient inserts from the Emuaid and Perrin’s Cream Compkete that I have used to self treat these past 6 weeks. He apologized for me “ falling through the cracks” as my Dr. Transitioned out of the office,  and said no one realized I had not been assigned to anyone for follow- up! 

We discussed diet, he agreed that a Gluten- free, no sugar more Paleo approach woukd probably be beneficial, was less concerned with my following low oxalate ( even with my history of kidney stones), and he prescribed Clob, but said since my flare- up is over I do not need to apply it now. 

We discussed alternative treatments including laser ( not covered by Insurance), but feels I currently have a mild case and it is not necessary. 

He asked to “ see my bottom” and take a picture for my chart and I agreed that this was probably a good idea. I do have some atrophy of right labia and some covering of clitoral hood. The had scar tissue on my perenium I will attack with my antioxidant cream to break down and what I thiught might be LS scarring at introitus on vag is probably due to episiotomy with 3 vag births in 4 years- nit worried about it tearing. 

Overall it was a good visit, he does not think I need to see a vulvular specialist, he was well- versed in LS and will do some more reasearch on some of the things we discussed begore my next appt. in 3 weeks. 

He agreed to sll of the tests that Nancy had mentioned regarding my hormones, my thyroid , my liver, etc. will get those results in 3 weeks. 

In the meantime I put on a little Emuaid if I feel a little tickle, I wear cotton briefs, I watch what I eat/ drink and I am trying to stay calm and level- headed. 

I did purchase the food- grade Borax and hv it on hand in case I start to see any fusing.
