Update for me..

Well I have now been refered from the physio to a different physio! Can't see them until 17th April.

i have been back to Drs in tears I saw a locom, no help at all begged for an X-ray as this has been going on for months and months, I was feeling I couldn't breath and tired due to lack of sleep with pain.

i went to hospital they said they could not do X-ray as not enough information.

Then in the afternoon I had an apology from the Dr saying he couldn't help and I have to wait for the physio, he was so sympathetic, more so than he was when I saw him, I'm guessing he actually read through my notes at last.

Anyway I phoned a local chiropractor cost £50 she gave me a massage then manipulation in my neck and arms(.  Arms very gently).

it was worth every penny and I'm going back on Tuesday, I can now breath feel free of a lot of what was going on and she told me I do not have a frozen shoulder but I have damaged my rotary cuff, I have been saying this forever!!

this woman has done more for me in half an hour than all the different dctr and physio people have in months!

I now need to try and get a mri to see how bad the tear is I am still in a lot of pain in my shoulder but feel more relaxed, thank you all on this forum as I know I am not alone in my frustration it helps so much x

You poor thing Eve......it really surprises me how bad your medical system seems over there. I can't believe you seem to have to jump through hoops to get medical attention.  People here in Australia whinge about our medical system, but I'm sure it's no where near as bad as yours. I am in a private medical, but I'm sure our non private don't have to wait as long as you do to get treatment.

i had a tear in my rotator cuff......AGONY......had surgery a week ago today, still very sore but I'm only a week out of surgery and in a sling for 6 weeks now.

i wish you bucket loads of luck and send you gentle hugs and kisses 😘❌❌❌

Well done Kerri , I'm so pleased you have had surgery, I bet you feel somewhat relieved. I just want answers and I'm in the process of putting in a complaint, not that it will get me anywhere. Xxx thank you x

Be very careful without an xray how can she tell whst u have done? when i first hurt mine i saw osteopath and yes relief was great, she kept saying it wasnt a fs. After 6 visits at 47.00 she sd i needed to see doc asshe thinks its a fs!! my doc was quick, i saw assessor in 2 days, had xray day later and had steroid injection 3 days later. Unfortunately here the onlyway to see ortjo specialist is from physio, so i hadcto go thrustages. An annoyed that im in so much pain again tho. if chiropractor helps then carry on. But all docs ive seen said fs and tear are same symptims and only way to tellis mri/xray. Good luck. We are all in same boat. X

Debbie , where are you I'm in Hampshire it has taken me five months to get where I am .

I have been with physio for nine weeks, last time he saw me I was in such a state he said lets get the ball rolling. Me being naive thought he was going to send me for an mri but he refered me to another physio, and that's where I'm at I see them on the 17th.

I was so desperate I went to the chiropractor, she has had the practice for thirty five years, I was very unsure of what she could do, I had so much tension build up it was awful but I feel so much better still in agony with my shoulder but I can breath and smile which has been rare , so I think she is worth every penny, I will keep seeing her until I get mri etc xxx sorry your in the same boat . Have you been to physio yet?

Hi Eve. Im in Suffolk. I saw physio last week after waiting 6 weeks for an appointment! She couldnt do much as i was in too much pain. I have another appt this wed, but only because physiois the key to the next bit! And i have hospital appt on thurs., not sure wat they are going to suggest as i was supposed to be referred for hydrodilitation....which is a lot more than i had last sat and was agony. So not sure what i will have. If i have it i think i need to be knocked out first! X
