Update March 2020

Hi just wanted to update, I have still been going to physical therapy three days a week. I am going to try and get in the pool at some point. I am still using crutches from time to time but I make myself walk with out them when I'm at home. I was wondering has anyone experienced knee pain when walking? My gait is still a bit off and this is something I'm working on in therapy. My calf muscle is still very small, I'm wondering if this is part of the pain I'm experiencing. CBD oil has been great for any aches and irritation. Other than that, I feel like I'm making decent progress. I have to be back to work in May so Im hoping to be walking decently. I don't want to over do anything. Any recommendations for standing for a lengthy time? I plan to have the ability to sit as well. I work on a food truck so everything is fast paced. Looking forward to getting back into a routine again.

Sounds like you are making progress

I found other parts of my body were affected by my ankle injury

Depending on what day of the week it was Knee pain, hip pain and shoulder pain

    It can be very frustrating

I tore the meniscus in my knee several years ago and broke my ankle on same side so I did notice that knee hurt for sure

Im back bartending and walking dogs

And the other day we walked 3 miles

I was a little stiff later that evening but not bad

Ill be 8 months post op soon

    Thanks for your update
