update on complications from direct anterior THR april

Has anyone utilized the mayo clinic for surgery complications or revisions. I have now gotten an MRI and an EMG. Nerve damage in several locations and damage to both parts of the ..psoas. This is not the cause of the mobilty problem of not being able to lift my leg more than 2 inches while standing and trying to do a march type motion. Any suggestions. Done a ton of rehab in three businesses. No one is doing anything but saying hope for time to be your friend. Need advice. Female and 71. Very nervous.

In march I approached doing the left hip as I was told that the pain
in lmy hip was likely radiating into the knee. Had a different surgeon...same organization T.C.O. and he showed me the two
view xray showing my knee put crooked. He said to go ahead with
the hip to help the knee and it would be a wall in the park compared
to knee surgery...which I had heard before. so in april, 2015...The hip surgery. Direct anterior promoted as bein less invasive and quicker recovery

I did r.ecently get a second opinion and it was the doctor who used to work for tco and went to school with both of these guys . He also showed me the error on implant and said difficult to revise due to the method used cutting something important and different type of implant used for that type of surgery. He arranged the MRI and EMG and result of that is to wait and see. I am allergic to penicilin and that would have been recommended for two months to rid the cyst.

thank you for reply. The knee surgery is the base of the pain problem.
then hip surgery that needed to be done for spurs etc. wAS the direct anterior type where they pull rather than cut and dig out and place in .
In this process it appears the psoas two area the illopsoas and the other psoas were over pulled and damaged and the several areas of nerves got damaged and are diagnosed as damaged to the point that recovery is not expected in this doctors opinion. THe nerves will grow sprouts but at 71 that will take years. I can not lift my foot upward off the floor more than 2 inches in the standing position and less in the sitting position so I can not get into bed or a car without major effort plus assistance. I am once again in therapy with the third group...this type sister kenny group now called courage kenny. I am thinking I should find out if Mayo Clinic would have any solution for this challenge of complication of surgeries.
Hoping there maybe anyone who has had knowledge or experience in the realm. or experience with mayo.

and sulfa which is what they use for a cyst trying first for a month and then aspiration with continued peniculin if it does not change for the better. Now the doctor does not know what is in the cyst and so experimenting with antibodics without knowing the contents is too risky, so aspiration would be better, but high chance of infection into blood stream. Many areas of nerves are damaged as well and no one has a plan as they believe recovery in my situation and age is not expected.
the psoas both kinds appear non functioning and no therapy planned.
