I have been dealing with this for a year now, if there is 1 thing i have learnt is one needs to accept that this is the new normal, it does get better, but there is no cure, there times in the day when my ear feels full, my vision blurrs, goes out of focus, there is pressure in my ears. I just shake it off and move on, i know it sounds crazy, but i have been to a lot of doctors they all think im normal, well what doesnt kill you makes you stronger right.

    Good luck

Hi - there is a very good  website on facebook called MAV SUPPORT.  You will get lots of help and advice.  Ive had it now for 3 1/2 years.  You need to see a neurologist they will prescribe some meds and your life may go back to normal.  Lots of people recover from this.  Ive improved but then had a virus and its gone down hill.  Hopefully just for a short while.

      Hi Rita

I would get off Gabapentin horrible stuff my family doctor was on it for pain and said it was the worst thing to do. Plus it is toxic to inner ears. Ototoxic look it up.

I am still having daily issues almost 4 years! Starting vestibular rehab this week. Desperate to be normal too.

Hi Kerr anne - you dont have to live with this.  You need to see a neurologist and he will prescribe some meds for you.  Go on Migraine .com website and you can read up about it all.  You just need to find the right one.  GPs and ENT are useless.  They have no idea.  You need a neurologist.
