Update on nightshade diet

Hi all, thought I'd give an update on how my nightshade diet is going. So I'm on week 4 I think.... Or maybe it's 5! Anyway things are going pretty well although I'm still getting the odd boil they are definitely not developing the way they were. Yes I can feel them and there is a little bit of pain but they are very different, they are not fully developing to the point that they need to burst and they go away much much much quicker...... I have had a couple of troublesome ones under my arm but they r ones I had before starting the ns diet one did burst yesterday so hopefully that will now heal. The other is a strange one I've no raised visible lump but it is painful at times and when I feel it you can feel the lump underneath, anyone had these ones? Its a first for me........ Anyway in general it's going well and I'm pleased with the results so far but still a long way to go till remission.

Thanks for the update, that's great news and hopefully encouraging for others to try it.

I've had the lumps that don't come to a head too. They just seen to linger forever, sometimes going of their own accord, sometimes leaking for ages, sometimes, after weeks and weeks it may come to a head, but it's rare. Just try and bear with it.

    Keep up the good work.

Mine took a good 6-8 weeks to go away because they were so deep. They seemed to "work" their way out. Like my body was releasing and trying to get rid of them. Keep it up!

Use warm compresses made with a face cloth in warm water and microwave it in a sanitary bowl for under a minute, I then soaked the cloth in tea tree oil and witch hazel and aloe Vera gel and used once a day, I finally got it to come to a Head and burst. Mine was on the crease of my bikini line and was very painful. It seemed to develop overnight but once I got it to burst I felt the pressure go away immediately. It was big and uncomfortable in so many ways. Once I got it to head I went to the doctor for a round of antibiotics and they landed it it slightly to open it to drain a little more and packed it with iodine and a little gauze. They put me on augmentin at first, which did not work for me because of me maybe, I had more side effects than I could stand with my intestines. Then they pUT me on doxycycline for 10 days, which I am still on today. So the cyst was the size of a softball and is now the size of a quarter. Drained a lot, used lots of gauze pads and a antibacterial wash. The ones under my arms are just about gone. I also have been taking a probiotic to keep the the good bacteria in my intestines in tact. So that's my advice if it gets too big or painful. Good luck on the night shade diet, I had mixed results myself between that and the paleo diets. Personally I had better results with the paleo diet. I think any clean eating and minimizing the acidic veggies in your diet will help. I guess everything in moderation helps. I have heard from another reviewer on here that Curcimin and vitamin D prescription helped them tremendously. I do plan personally plan to give that a try.
