Posted 14 days ago: Hey guys..I have been on Ativn for a year and a half. My dr. wants me off it. I take Celexa and i also have been weening off the Ativin (was taking .05 mgs three times a day,now down to twice a day for two weeks then down to once a day for two weeks to clear off it)..My question is: Im taking 10 mgs of Celexa ,have been for almost 4 weeks now.. The first two weeks not much difference while i was waiting for it to get into my system. The third week i noticed it was easing my Anxitey a bit and into my fourth week(this week,3 days shy of four weeks),i have noticed my Anxiety has shown up again. My dr. is away till the 22nd of this month. Have i waited long enough for this to get fully in my system? Do i need to up the dose when she gets back?.Or is Anxiety days part of the prosess?..Thanks to all that respond,i do appreciate it~Stewie~

Okay guys, i am on 10 mgs. of Celexa still and down to .05 of Ativan(once daily)..The Celexa has kicked into my system(Friday will be 6 weeks exactly taking it). I am feeling like my old AMAZING self..Im out with friends,im working out again and having some fun!!...I hope the Celexa stays this way and i dont have to go to 20 mgs a day after im off the Ativan dosage this week. I may have to just keep taking the .05 once a day of the Ativan and the Celexa to keep it balanced. I have a Dr. Visit May 5`th and we will discuss it then. Im updating to let you all know out there, there IS hope. I wasnt sure this was going to work for me ,i was VERY Skeptical...This may not be the thing for you,but im sure there is one out there for all of you, just dont give up!..Everybody is different, the Zoloft i was taking gave me Tinitus(ringing in the ear),so i swithed to Celexa...Good luck to all of you,im here if you need me ~Stewie~ wink
