Upped dose from 5 to 10mg

Hi guys just wondering how long does the upper dose take to work do we have to wait another 4to6 weeks again?

It didn't take that lg for me . It's a daily change for the better... Time is all it takes and you will start to feel better... Take Care .. Nickie

It takes 4 to 6 weeks for the medicine to build up in your system. Then afterward probably a little less time if your dose is increased. I doubt that you'll really notice it because you're already well on your way to feeling better.It's as if you wake up one day and realize you're actually feeling better.
This has happened to me, but I take Effexor XR. Lexapro was not the medicine for me. But it doesn't really matter, as long as we get to feeling like ourselves.Good luck!!! Stay active!
