Upped dose of Fluoxetine from 20 to 40 mgs-2 weeks ago.

Is it normal to get side effects like anxiety & low appetite?I'm just not feeling myself.We were thinking the Prozac "pooped out" because I started not feeling well.Intrusive thoughts, low appetite, poor sleep, nausea, tiredness, no interest in doing things that I normally did.....

Evenings seem to be a bit better. Doc added 7.5 mg of Remeron to help with the sleep & appetite.

I just want to feel "normal" again.

It's so hard not to just lose all hope.

    Hello!

    I forgot that I wrote this! I have a new Psychiatrist now & she switched me back to 20 mg prozac & then upped remeron to 15 mgs.

    She's getting me off the Xanax by cutting the dose in half & added Gabapentin with the halved dose.

    I feel great BUT have gained a ton of weight from the remeron. Ughhhhh.

    I am going to see the doc again this coming Saturday & I'm going to ask about this weight issue from the meds.

    Doesnt it figure???? I finally feel more like myself & then this......
