I have GAD and suffer from health anxiety I have a range of physical symptoms such as weird sensations in my head, numbness, hot flushes, sensitivity to heat/cold and almost chronic dizziness.

But the symptom that scares me the most is this upper abdominal fullness/pressure I get especially when standing or if I stand for long periods of time i notice it more...is anyone else experiencing this??

I also look significantly skinnier and so bony (my clothes fit looser) but i weigh the same so doctors say im fine, but i dont believe them...please help

millions of people get that upper Abdominal fullness and pressure. There are so many non-serious reasons for that that are most likely the cause. Some people get gas build up, sometimes it’s our diet, sometimes it’s even anxiety that causes that! I have had that on and off for many years. There was never a medical explanation but only anxiety.

when we convince ourselves it’s something serious, that doesn’t mean that it’s true. That is a conclusion that is only based on emotions mainly fear.

You have to think of the most logical explanation. Abdominal discomfort is one of the most common things that people experience. so think of what you were eating, think of how much anxiety you’re having, etc. change some things around such as your diet, decrease the anxiety, etc.Do you get enough exercise?

you can even talk to your doctor about how you can reduce the pressure. Relax. You’re going to be fine. Overthinking makes you miserable for nothing. Take care
