Upper Abdominal Pain

Ive been having unexplained upper abdominal pain for the past month, usually only when I eat. But the past several days, it has become severe pain anytime I eat a meal. I havent really ate much for the past few days because it hurts so bad afterwords. I went to the ER yesterday because it was so bad, and they said they did not see anything on my CAT scan or blood work. So what could this be? The pain is so severe it makes me not even want to eat anymore. Sometimes ill feel slight pain even when I dont eat, but it intensifies after eating. I have to wait to see a GI doctor, but if I go and they say they cant help me or dont know whats wrong, I truly dont know what ill do Anyone know what it could be?
