Upper Back/Neck Pain and Ache

Hey,

I am constantly feeling pain spanning from my upper back to my neck. I especially feel this on the right side of the right shoulder blade all the way up to the right side of my neck, also slightly on the left side too.

I have had this pain for about 9 months now. I have tried all sorts of things spanning from some back exercises to trying to sit straighter, but I can always feel a strain and an ache coming from this area. I do use the computer a lot, but even after coming back from a 2 week holiday, I could still feel the pain throughout and after the holiday, which is why I am confused what the solution could possibly be and what the best option to take would be.

I am thinking of potentially going to a chiropractor, but I don't know if this is the right option for the problem I am describing.

I hope you can help smile

I see a chiro for neck and back issues and he's brilliant, however I would go see your GP first, maybe you need an MRI but also ask him if it would be a good idea to see a chiro while you wait for an appointment😊

Carolineq8 is right. You need to go see your GP first, let him do some Imaging and some examining of your back and neck and then if he okays you to go to a chiropractor then there's no reason to not give it a try. I hope you get this worked out. The sooner you get started on this kind of pain the better off you are of getting a resolution.
