Upper shoulder, armpit down to elbow pain.

About 2 months ago, I felt like I was getting sick, either from sinuses or the flue. I took some sinus medicine but by the end of the night I felt like I had the flue. Every bone in my body hurt so bad. By the next morning I hurt so bad and I could not get out of the bed. My grandson had to get me out of bed. I could not even walk. I stayed in bed a couple of days using home remedies. It took about four or five days to be able to walk and stop hurting. Didn't go to the doctor. About 21/2 weeks later I woke up one morning with the same thing. Could not walk at all and hurt all over. That night I started running fever, so my daughter brought me to ER. They checked for the flue but it came out clear. So I did a blood and urine test. My white blood cell count was high and the doctor told me that I had a severe UTI and it was just that I wasn't septic. I was prescribed antibiotics for 10 days. Once I finished with the antibiotics I was much better but my upper arms, more on my left arm was still hurting, along with my lower back on the right side. So, I went to the doctor to do a blood and urine test again. I called them and they told me everything came out clear. But my arms are hurting me very bad, as well as my lower right back. My back and been hurting before these episodes but I never had upper arm pain like this until the first episode 2 months ago. I saw that someone mentioned antiviral. Can you please tell me what you meant by that? Help please????

    Hi,

Its hard to conclude something at the moment, based on the symptoms mentioned above.

My assumption may be lack of vitamins especially Vitamin D, which tweaks the body immune system. With this condition body becomes constantly prone to any small infections like cold, fewer, body ache, fatigue etc... but the blood report says normal.

Further diagnosis is required to address the deficiency and supplement accordingly.

As a suggestion try to work with regular gentle walking on a daily basis for 30 to 40 minutes especially in sunlight, which will improve vitamin D and better blood circulation.

Overall a constant monitoring and further diagnosis required...

Some natural antivirals may help:  olive leaf oil, colloidal silver, oregano oil, garlic, etc....  good luck!  I'm just getting over a cold and still dealing with the muscle/body pain that came with it this time.  Hugs!

Is the pain more kike a burning tingling superficial pain?

If so then it could be neuropathic and Shingles vurus is a common cause especially in the areas of the body you mentioned.

That should have been picked up in the blood tests, but not always and you probably would hav a visibke rash by now (but nit always)

Anti-biotics wont help since it is a virus, hence anti-viral medication (Acyclovir) is the treatment for shingles.
