Upper Thigh pain

hi I have been experiencing upper thigh pain across the top of my left thigh where the thigh meets the bottom of the hip I guess, for about 3 weeks,but the past 3 days have been extremely painful when I walk. I do not recall any injury so I am at a loss to explain it has anyone experienced this type of pain?

    I have been experiencing the same thing but mine may be a result of injury from running. Have you been to the doctor yet? I have an appointment today and will let you know what she says.

      I was diagnosed with trochanteric bursitis and was prescribed anti antiinflammatory meds along with physical therapy exercises to do at home specifically for this diagnosis. Also ice area 3 times a day for 10-20 min. Get a diagnosis and be sure you get the exercises recommended and do them. Praying we both are better soon☺also she strongly recommended no cycling as it makes it worse... Water exercise is okay.
