Upping dose

hi guys, have been suffering with severe anxiety for 9 weeks now i was on 150mg and had one good week where i thought things were getting better but i felt worse so i upped to the maximum dosage of 200mg is it normal to feel more anxious while the new dosage is settling in

    Yes, it can take up to 2 weeks to settle on a dosage change with increased anxiety symptoms at first. If u want some good news and inspiration, i remained completely back to normal on 200mg for 16 years. Pooped out 4 months ago and have now added 30mg Mirtazipane as augmentation strategy.

      thanks for that i have been on sertraline in the past and 150mg always worked but after a stressful year moving house getting a puppy stress levels have been high lol so i had to up my dose

      Well getting a puppy is the best move you've made 😃 I have a Springer Spaniel. He's 4 now but he has been sleeping in my room the last 3 months as he knows i have anxiety. When i'm well he sleeps downstairs. He comes up on his own. It's amazing how perceptive and caring dogs are. Definitely man's best friend in my opinion. Dog walks help reduce anxiety symptoms too 😃 Good luck!
