Ups and downs

Hi all

Been on 50mg for just over 3wks now and

had such a good day yesterday, woke up feeling 100%, went on a bike ride done lots of family things, theres me thinking yes this is the start of getting my life back on track, and boom last night, restless nights sleep, woke up in a panic, whole body shaking, hot sweats, feel awful, had nothing yesterday not 1 side effect, feels like I've gone back to the beginning, why does it do that to you, dam you anxiety, 😡😡🤬

    Anxiety sucks like that. I think in some ways for me at least, it makes the bad days seem all that much worse because you've had such a good day the day before. But just know that although you're having a bad day today, you're on the right track, you've seen a glimpse of the old you, the anxiety free you, and you will see many more good days in the future, and less bad ones. Unfortunately it will take time, anxiety meds are not like others where it just kicks in one day and all is good from then on. Just hold on to those good days when you're having a bad one, and know that another good day is right around the corner.

      thanks very much for the encouragement, think I needed that today, i was so excited after 6wks I thought yes this is it, then let down,

      can't wait to get them fully working and back to being me,

    Hi it's horrible isnt it I've been like that for weeks now been to doctors this morning and been given sleeping tablets to help with the anxiety aswell im so tired of this anxiety so know how you feel

    I know exactly how you are feeling!

    That was me last week two really good productive days then downhill after that, feeling worst than I did a week ago.

    I keep thinking would I be like this if I wasn't taking the sertraline, are these side effects or is it something else? I've been on 25mg for nearly two weeks so I'm not expecting miracles but it's hard when you have a really good day and then crash the next. The worst motivator!

      I think that's the worse thing not knowing if it's side effects or something bad, especially if you suffer with health anxiety,

      I was on 25mg for 3 weeks nearly came off them, as they were just making me feel awful, but I went up to 50 and I they do work, sometimes, lol... there such a slow release drug it's takes ages to feel the full benefit,

    Hey Bronson! Can anyone tell me what the full benefits of Sertrailene are supposed to be. Is anyone happy with it? Seems like they are trying to get started and complaining about side effects, or they want to get off of this drug because of side effects.
