hi all, What can i do for the burning stinging sensation i have? I have started on vagifem pesseries which have helped a great deal and bicarb baths, Is there anything else i can do please? I have done some research and it seems quite normal that ladies get pain like this so was wondering how you girls self help xx

    l think many women get problems from time to time, though l wouldnt say it normal to get it regularly, often its due to either cysitus, but if no pain in passing urine thats not likely, might be thrush which can sting but thrush can often be seen, white discharge, might be  inflammation, have you put a sample into docs to make sure its not cystitus, or tried anti thrush pessary,you can get one on script or at chemist, but  if urine too acid many use a bit of bicarb in water for drinking, and drink lots of water to dilute urine, see if it helps..

    Its not thrush or urine problems, Ive had tests / swabs, Everything is clear, I have googled and soreness and burning are symptoms that go with this problem, Just fed up with it really and have another two wks until i see my consultant x

      Horrible feeling, l had simular with intersticial cystitus, you do get fed up with it. Hope it passes quick.

    Hi Cath drink plenty of water that will dilute your urine an make it weaker an might not string as much .

    May have cofused you sorry, Ive got continual burning and a stinging sensation in and around my vagina, No pain at all on urinating plus my gp has tested it and its fine, Its my prolapse i think thats causing me to sting.
