Urge/frequency tips.

Two things I've observed are -keep those hot pads away from your bladder - microwave and stick on.
If they're really hot they have been known to give me the feeling I have to pee asap. I just figured this out as I have been using them forever. Keep them far away from your bladder and urinary tract.
Also, how you sit can definitely affect your urgency sensation. Its important to sit back on the cushy part of your behind rather than upfront on your genitals.
When I'm anxious I tend to sit forward and it can definitely trigger the urge to "go."
Just thought I'd pass these tips along.....

About sitting, yes, it happens to me too. It happens due the pressure on the urethra that block the urine, it would be useful except that when you stand up you realize how much internal pressure actually there's in your bladder and you need to rush to the bathroom as soon as possible hoping to have the time to avoid a big disaster. Doesn't matter the position I'm sitting, it happens all the times, but honestly I didn't pay much attention to the position.
About the pads for me it's like the opposite, cold makes my urgencies stronger and more unexpected, so the warmth helps. Anyway when they becomes really too hot, like in the summer, it's very annoying and uncomfortable, but still better than without!
Thanks for the tips, I really appreciate that! People talks too few about this and sharing is a big help for all of us.

I have a lot of anxiety and adore heat so I have many electric heating pads, microwave pads, etc and I love them all but I was really dumb heating them up too high and laying one on my bladder. A minute later, a really strong urge to pee comes up.
After it happened the last time it dawned on me that this was the real cause of that really strong urge coming on me every night just when I got into bed.
I was blaming various other things that were causing this then - the penny dropped and I realized it was the high heat from the microwave pad.
The next day it was confirmed when I put on a stick on pad right on my bladder and that can get really hot, too....intense urge to 'go" again! That's it for me.
As far as the sitting position goes - I tend to really perch forward hard, putting a lot of pressure on my genitals and then gives a pinging sensation to the whole area when I get up. Thankfully, it goes away after a half hour.
