Urge to urinate and burn in urethra but not UTI?

Hi all,

kind of hoping someone out there has suffered with something similar. i have had pain in my scrotum and a burning sensation in my urethra, i also feel like i need to urinate when i dont actually need to. i have had ultrasound of testes and and urinary tract and no abnormalities, UTI test was negative. doctors have given me doxycycline and told me it looks like resolving epididimytis. i really dont think they have a clue. Could this be IBS? or prostatitis? far too much info online.
