Urgency to pee, but restricted flow?

I'm a 44 year old male, a little overweight (15st) and am a moderate drinker although I have been trying to cut back of late. I have been experiencing this for maybe the past year or so and it seems to be gradually getting worse.

I can feel the urgent need to go for a pee, however when I go, the amount that comes out doesn't seem to match the urgency and it can feel a little forced. Once finished and can turn around and by the time I get to the bathroom door, I feel like I already need to go again. If I try, I always get some more, so it's as if i'm not emptying my bladder completely.

In the morning I have a 35 minute commute to work. I pee before I leave and almost without fail i'm bursting to go by the time I get to work, to the point it's painful and i'm barely making it. I have to go quite often throughout the day, and when I do, the urge comes on suddenly and desperately. I usually get up at least one or twice throughout the night too.

I have noticed that ejaculations are also slower and less forcefull and feel almost 'restricted' as if there is a reverse pressure acting on them.

I also get a fizzing or buzzing sensation around my perineum that comes and goes randomly throughout the day.

I went to see the doctor a few days back. He did a prostate examination, but said everything feels normal and that the prostate doesn't feel enlarged or abnormal in shape. He also did a urine dip test, and that all came out normal too and didn't indicate any urinary infection, blood or glucose. He has booked me in for a blood test, including PSA just to be sure - but it doesn't sound like it's my prostate that is causing this.

Are there any other things that could cause such symptoms?
