Hey I am 9 weeks and 5 days pregnant have bad urine infection in scared of loosing my baby now

    Why do you think you might lose your pregnancy? Did you talk to the doctor who diagnosed your UTI? Have you spoken to your OB/GYN? Are you having any unusual symptoms?

    Nothing helps alleviate fear like seeing the proper doctor. Go to your nearest ER and they will see to it that the proper doctor examines you and addresses all your fears.

      The doc on call just says it increases ur chance of having a miscarriage my heads all over place now

      Are you in the UK or the US?

      If the UTI goes untreated, it may lead to a kidney infection. Kidney infections may cause early labor and low birth weight. If your doctor treats a urinary tract infection early and properly, the UTI is at low risk of harming your baby.

      UTI’s can be safely treated with antibiotics during pregnancy. Urinary tract infections are most commonly treated by antibiotics. Doctors usually prescribe a 3-7 day course of antibiotics that is safe for you and the baby. Call your doctor if you have fever, chills, lower stomach pains, nausea, vomiting, contractions, or if after taking medicine for three days, you still have a burning feeling when you urinate.

      Call/go see your OB/GYN.
