urine infection

I was told i have a urine infection which is very painful could it be associated with having a bladder stone?

    It's very easy to get bladder infection such as not wiping properly, not getting enough fluids, etc as a women. Yes having a stone will make it more painful when passing. Make sure to get plenty of fluid and cranberry juice or tabs help with current infection and prevention of future bladder infection s. Hope info is helpful...HugsOXOX
