I've tried most of the natural and prescription aids out there. None of the natural aid come close to FlowMax or Alfuzosin. FlowMax will definitely cause retrograde. I only take it as needed and only half the dose (.2mg) at a time. At half the dose most of it will be out your system in 12 hours, so planning for sexual encounters without retrograde is easily managed. Alfuzosin, no issues with retrograde. Downside is you can only take the full does at a time. So, if you suffer from any of the side effects you will have to endure them during the day(24 hours). Cialis is also something you can try. None of the above will help reduce your prostate size, but they can help with your symptoms.

Finesteride - stay away from, low to no sex drive, erectile issues. Suppose to shrink the prostate. Takes 6 months to see if it works.

    Stinging nettles root

    Pygeum

    Graminex

    Lycopene

    Beta Sistosterol

    Zinc

There are many more out there. I didn't have luck with any of them. Only felt affects with the Scripts.

Something I'm currently trying is 2 tspn of Modified Citrus Pectin with 2 tbs of Organic Lemon Juice concentrate.

I did the Pectin about 8 years ago. At the time my PSA was elevated and I was trying to slow down the rate at which it was increasing. The pectin is known to double the time it takes for your PSA to increase. Example: If it takes 1 year to increase my PSA from 2 to 3, I can take the pectin and slow the PSA rate down. I will take 2 years for my PSA to go from a 2 to 3 if I'm on the pectin.

I took 1 flat tspn (5 gm) 5 days a week for 6 months. My PSA dropped, and my cholesterol dropped 50+ points. My only change in lifestyle was adding the pectin.

The pectin is highly recommended for those who've had prostate cancer and had it removed. This keeps their PSA in check. I know, it doesn't make sense, no prostate, PSA?

The pectin has been tested successful in treating specific cancers.

I still had a bottle left, so I thought, what if it could shrink my prostate, so I could avoid a 2nd procedure?

I'm on day 40 (10mg pectin mix (above) with water in the morning on an empty stomach), noticed a small change last night. I was able to relax and empty with 2-3 voids. Its always been a struggle with 5+ voids and a 30-60 time frame to empty, at night. I hope night 2 goes well, if so then I've hit on something.

I've had a UroLift (2 yrs ago) on the lateral lobes. Just found out 2 months ago, I have a high bladder neck with a large median lobe. Surgery or PAE (prostate artery embolism) are my only solutions for my median lobe.

    Good Luck

It was left over from one of my earlier experiments. At the time I was trying to get some relief from urinary burning, result of my UroLift. The lemon juice increases your PH, so the urine is more alkaline thus doesn't burn as much coming out. As a side result, I would get occasional occurrences of full urinary flow, It also got rid of some of my warts. It took about 1 month before I saw any results. I figured it wouldn't hurt to throw it in the mix. I did get some benefits from it, why not?

Thanks i take lemon juice with other vitimens.Never really noticed a difference. Wouldn't it make urine acidic?

No, it goes in acidic, then your body somehow changes it to alkaline.

Is your lemon juice a concentrate? 2 table spoons is about 1 lemon. Juice is very weak.
