Urolift & A New Treatment

Good morning all.  I did some reading on the new trails on the Urolift and the Median lobe.  There has been a trail going on for the last few years that they are working on prostate of 125 g with a median lobe.  The results are good.  It just they have to put more clips in to secure it to the one side.  It has been working well and the pressure the median lobe causes on the bladder neck has been taking off the bladder.  I do know that more doctor are going to try to use it after it is being filed.  I do know my Urologist has done some patients with that problem and it has worked well for them.  When I find out more I will let you know.  Also while I was looking that up I came across a new treatment that has been studied for the last 15 years.  It is called ** Fexapotide Triflutate **  It is a injection into the prostate.  I read this in the BPH News.  It is a one time injection that can be done in the office and needs no pain meds.  With it helping men with BPH it also can help with sexual functions.  The men in the trail that were giving the injection said that there sex life improved even men that were having problem before.  This would be great.  If you don't want to have any surgery you can get fixed by one injection.  It gives us something else to try.  The company will submit a NDA for Fexapotide Triflutate for treatment of BPH in the US later this year.  They also have a meeting with the FDA later in the year.  The full study were recently published in the World Journal of Urology.   I hope this find all of you in good health.  Here is more hope  I just hope it does not take forever.   Ken
