    What kind of ablation?

Endometrial ablation is easy but does not treat fibroids, only bleeding

If you have fibroids, Acessa is an ablation procedure that is same day with a 3-5 day recovery

I had mine about 4 years ago. The procedure and recovery were pretty easy but it only relieved my bleeding for about 2 years. Then I had an IUD I

With hormones and that helped for about another 2 years.

Hi Michelle did you mean Endo ablation? If you do then I would not recommend. It. I had it done and my periods went from being heavy to flooding where I was scared to go out I had to take tablets to stop the flow. Also I gained 23 11bs. It may work for you so you have to ask yourself if it's worth the risk, good luck

Hi Michelle, I have gad them twice, No biggie, dont worry at all. Are you getting put to sleep ? Not needed, they will numb you really good. After use heat pads for mild cramping take ibuprofin starting a few days before, helps to have in your system ahead of time, its very minor compared to a surgery. But I understand that ANY invasive procedure is not fun , and stressful, but you will be fine, and on your feet the next day. goodluck, blessings, Iris
