Uterine Prolapse

i had a total hysterectomy on dec 27 due to uterine prolapse. i had a peak at my vagina today and am horrified its still bulging, does this mean i have a different prolapse as it cant be my uterus as thats gone . can anyone help?

    Sorry to hear this but I think it is probably still very swollen.

    It takes about three months fir the stitches to dissolve.

    I remember thinking my prolapse had returned !

    Chat to you your consultant or GP

    i am sure they will reassure you

    it does take a long time to heal as the stitches are internal.

      thank you for your reply, i see my dr at 6 week check up so ill see what he says
