A lot depends on your age as to what the best advice would be Buster and if you've had children

Buster as I said before in your other post it would be helpful if you gave us some idea of your age. That is important if you want advice as well as if you've had children. The advice for a woman under 45 is very different to a woman older than that.

I am 53. Two children. Last child at age 34. I am pretty sure my prolapse happened after second child. My prolapse is state three. I have no problems really. The Ce fix is right at the opening of my vagina. I have had some pain in the vagina off and in for the last year. Not sure what to do. Have seen many Doc and some have said to try the peddaty. I did but have had to use the bull horn which is difficult to remove. So now just don't know what to do. Some dicsvsau that the baginslnhysterevomy eithebthe two ties will pull the ahi a wall up and I should be ok eithe my bladder prolapse which is a 2. And the other Doc mentions the rectum and bladder stich???

As you also have a bladder prolapse I hope your consultant is a urogynaecologist. That is important to get the correct advice and if surgery is an option the best outcome. A stage 3 prolapse would easily be suitable for either a hysterectomy or a repair. Having a hysterectomy doesn't mean the removal of your ovaries (oopherectomy) but it would probably be a total hysterectomy where they remove your cervix as well as your uterus. Your doctor mentioned rectum and bladder stitch. This is what he'd need to do to secure your repair into place. If your prolapse doesn't cause problems it could be that your consultant decides to leave things for a while but that's up to you, remember it's your body and your decision. Physio wouldn't help your prolapse now but could strengthen the pelvic floor muscles to give you the best outcome if you do have surgery.

Yes it would be a hysterectomy removal with the cervix. And I have seen regular gynecologist and urogyno. I really don't know who to go with as far as hesterectomy with 2 ties or the docs that say badder stitch and retum stitch. I have both suggestions from both regular gynecologist and Urogynocologist ?

Definitely a urogynaecologist Buster. They do extra training and even if he/she is younger than the gynaecologist it's still the best for a repair.

Also I have seen a therapist for pelivic exercises this year. However with not much imorovement. I can only get to like 15 on machine. Have some strength. But pretty weak and it is fustrating not to improve. ☹️

So what if one gyno says repair bladder and one gyno says to just us two stitches for uterus and that should work?

The urogynaecologist will do both operations at the same time. It's unusual to do one and not the other

Well I have two urogyno that says that the 2 starches that pull the vaginal wall up should pull the vagina wall enough to hold bladder. And two urogyno say that they would do the two stitches and stitch bladder and rectum

I would advise you to research the different types of surgery. Also where are you from?

Buster if you go to the Genitourinary home page and click on Useful Resources there's information there put together by Alan the Emis Moderator along with some information from me and other ladies. You may find some of it useful while you are deciding what is right for you.
