UTI

I have E coli infection in my urine ive been on 2 antibiotics now. I woke up this morning i went to pee and it hurt so bad while i was peeing and now im having stomah pains and back pains. Please help me figure out what is going on. sad

    I would go back to the doctors and get another urine culture done.  It is possile that the stomach pains could be a side effect from the antibiotics, but the back pain could be due to the infection.  If you have a high fever I would not wait too long.  Sometimes when antibiotics are not clearing it, it could mean that the bacteria is resistant to the medication, or that there is some other issues going on in the urinary tract.  It is possible that there is a vaginal infection as they can mimic UTI's it would not hurt to get a swab done as well.  Good luck!

    Hey Luna k I went threw the same thing as you and unfortunately still going threw it I would like to know what drs have you seen and what have they told you so far and did they prescribe you anything for you pain how has your blood pressure been and describe your pain to me when you per and where is the pain

      Hi im a 17 year old girl i went to thr urologist they want to get a CT done which is this friday.. My blood pressure as been high and my heart rate has been high plus ive had a slight fever and they honestly haven't told me anything yet because they dont know hope this helps

      They haven't perscribed ne any pain meds my pain is in my back and its constant and now i have pain in my stomach 3 inches from my bely button on each side

      So I had the same thing so they found out after 6 months later I have IC it's not a common disease but it's not curable either went to Philadelphia pa on tues best place to go they know everything
