UTi infections over years and told the doctors about 20 odd of them ===== it's not much fun to pee but no blood in urine until a one day saw blood in my pee & that was 1978. The urologist said it must have been an infection
tyhat has cleared up on it's own........ I told him but my symptoms come and go........ Not a thing & then both my wife and myself were found to have an E coli infection which we both had antibiotics for. It seemed to eradicate the problem but I seemed to have symptoms that my resistance would rectify over years...
I looked at the TB angle due to my diving xray showing calcification's on both lung fields & strange though it may seem that was 1978.
It is apparent that TB can reoccur anywhere in the human body with varying symptoms that are difficult to confirm. Out of 26 doctors one mentioned the above fact but none said that an investigation should be done....... There is evidence that very few doctors refer to ancient medical history especially those on 'paper' as they are not easy to access. There is a cut off age which is 70 and I'm past that so I would not get a referral to the TB clinic even if I needed one.
The antibiotics that have eliminated the symptoms for me kill Tuberculosis so until it is proven that was not the infection I have suffered from who knows? When my symptoms were at there worse a year ago I was glad I did not get an erection and the symptoms quelled any thoughts of trying to get one in any case!
When prostateitis sets in as an addition to a UTI an erection is nigh on impossible but when the antibiotics
work and are killing the infection with minimal inflammation feeling do get back to normal.
Despite a urologist challenging me with a stupid remark when he said = I cannot prove I had an infection. That was after all my symptoms had been eradicated I replied =well where have all my symptoms gone to then? He again gave a stupid reply by saying = 'it must have been a coincidence!'
I think the moral of all this is you must have a doctor who is experienced in ALL aspects of urology not just parts of that subject as many doctors seem to have.
