UTI gone, still have back pain

My urine is showing no bacteria. I have had xrays to rule out kidney stones and that came back OK. The only comment they could make was that I was constipated. I was given Movicol, which worked wonderfully. All my bloods including a CA125 came back good.

I still have the back pain though. My next step is a pelvic ultrasound, if that shows nothing then, I can only assume that it is adhesions causing the pain??

Perhaps you just have a back injury that you can't remember.  Try an over-the-counter anti-inflammatory such as Naproxin for a week.

Hard to explain but it is not that type of pain. I say it is very similar to my ovarian cyst pain from previous ones. (Last one 12 years ago). It isn't constant, but when I bend or exert myself it hurts and my abdo throbs.

Anyway i have a pelvic/abdo/renal ultrasound on Monday

It's hard to just rule out.kidney stones. I had one get stuck once. The ride to the hospital made it move. They took a urine sample first thing. Had me go in a urnal so they could strain it just in case I passed it. The clown they sent in filled a specimen cup and dumped the rest. I was heated. Told him if the stone isn't in that cup, he just dumped it down the drain. Of course it wasn't in the sample collected. Cat scan showed no sign of stones in kidneys or bladder. Ended up at a urologist 7 months later anyways. Til you find one, they won't do a thing.
