UTIS ALL THE TIME PLEASE HELP!!!!

Hi All,
This discussion will probably be long but please please read it!!
I am a 20 year olde female and for the past 2-3 years I have had recurrent utis. To start with it was once every few weeks, then once a week then they started happening every second day which as you can immagine is unbearable. I swear I have had so many samples taken, tests done and seen so many specailists I am slowly giving up.
When I get a uti it's not one that can be treated with a healthy life style and plenty water, I genuinly do not pass anything but blood, there is no urine and when I do go (which is like every two seconds there's hardly anything to pass) even though I'm drinking LOTS OF WATER. I sweat, feel sick, get dizzy and I genuinly can't leave the toilet. This is honestly ruining my life. I'm currently sitting in bed crying when I should be out with all my friends having fun.
I have had the same partner for 2 years and we have both been tested for STI'S- every one you could imagine. I have tried everything, from herbal remedies, to cranberry vitamins and juice, washing before and after sex(my partner too), peeing before and after sex, drinking LOTS of water, eating healthy, not drinking alcohol for a while, cutting out chocolate, citrus fruits etc and NOTHING IS WORKING. I know there are so many posts similar to mine but I honestly can not describe how low this is making me feel- I'm just hoping by reading my past there may be a different answer from what I've already read on other blogs.
My doctor has had me on so many antibiotics its become a joke. I've had three day courses, weekly courses and I was even put on one antibiotic a night for 6 months- changing the antibiotic so I didn't become immune. However NOTHING has worked... Despite efforts I have became immune to some antibitocs and I don't want to keep putting these pills in my body.
I had a car accident three years ago where I underwent major surgery- I had a perforated bowel which meant I had to be cut open, flushed out and stitched back up- the doctors all know this however no one has seemed to link it.. I've asked could they have accidently caught something when operating but no one seems to think so.. although the utis started after the operation?
I seen a specialist who performed an operation to widen the tubes of my bladder- urethral dilation I think it's called.. I am not going to lie for 6 months I had NO urine infections it was the best thing ever but recently I had started getting one every week again and if you have never had one I can't describe the pain this is causing me. Not only is it sore but I genuinly feel so low, I can't do anything like normal people my age. I know there are so much worse things that I could have but to me this is ruining my life.
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME???
I have tried everything Please do not come back with lots of water, and all the things I've already tried I'm just looking for another option the doctors maybe haven't mentioned?
Thanks in advance x

Hi Addie, not sure if I will be much help but I have been suffering recurring UTI's and intermittent flow for nearly five years now, have recently finished a 9 month course of three different antibiotics but I think mine is do to an op I had back in 2010. Dare I ask if you have had a cystoscopy done where they can see inside your bladder, do a biopsy if necessary and check to see if you could have interstitial cystitis. It's only a thought if they haven't already done one. I do sympathise, as its one of the worst feelings ever. I hope that someone can do something for you and there'll be light at the end of the tunnel. Fingers crossed for you. X

Hi, thanks so much for the reply!
I honestly am not sure what I've had done I've been back and forth to the doctors every other week with this that I've lost count of what's been done I have another appointment tomorrow so could check if I have had that done, if not I could request that just to rule it out or solve the problem! Thank you again, it's nice to have the support x

Hi there, if you don't mind me asking what bacteria are they finding in your cultures? These UTIs are so tricky, I know because I am getting on again off again bacteria with cystitis symptoms. The problem for me is I have allergic reactions to the antibiotics. The only thing I can think of is maybe you have been given too many antibiotics to the point it has stripped all the good bacteria creating a breeding ground for more bacteria. I have been doing a different appoach and have found relief but I am not sure I can say what it is on here. The bacteria I am dealing with is strep b, and although no one considers this an abnormal organism it sure does cause symptoms and it has been on and off since the summer.

Hi linda,
Thanks so much for replying. That's the problem when I get a uti its so bad I have to take an antibiotic straight away so any samples aren't relevant as I've antibiotics in my system.. However the ones they have done come back with blood and puss but no sign of infection. I've had nitrofuritoin today and it calmed it down a little but now I'm back to blood and agony when I urinate..
Is there any way you could give me more information on the method you're trying?x

I will try, but last time I posted it was not shown. I have heard that some antibiotics can cause problems to the bladder, so I wonder if somehow the wall of your bladder is inflammed. Keep in mind that this can cause brutal symtoms too. The method I have been doing has been a slow process, mine symptoms started back late summer, we tried the traditional method with antibiotics, but I get itching and allergic side effects that they suggest I stop taking them in case the allergies get worse. So needless to say the bacteria never cleared up. With strep b, from some of the forums I have read it is a bacteria that can keep coming back despite taking antibiotics. So I did the drinking lots of water, cranberry, probiotics, and d-mannose and although I found some relief, the flare ups would return. Then I started ozone and that seemed to really elivate the symptoms, there were a couple cultures that came back that the bacteria was gone, so I stopped, and sure enough after a month and a half it came back. So I am not sure if strep b is something that just lives in the body and can't be taken out? I have heard there is a link to strep b and intersitial cystitis....GREAT! I see my urologist next week and I hope he can come up with something, even though the ozone is working to take away symptoms, it is expensive.

Ask your doctor about Interstitial Cystitis (aka: IC or "painful bladder".

I have already done this and had tests done for this I'm back on antibiotics and being referred to urology (I'm rubbish at spelling!) again so hopefully they have another answer..
