Utrasound scan

had an utra sound scan done rang today for results and she said it's been advised I see a gp would this mean they have found something but it not urgent I've been given a 2 week appointment

    Don't try to guess what it means Gemma. I think the people who answer the phone are just people who answer phones and shouldn't offer advice!

    It appears like there may something than may not look quite right and they would just like a specialist to just take a look at it for a second opinion. .Please don't think the worst. I would think if something were really wrong they would get you in sooner to see the doctor. What specialist are they referring you to? Try not to worry as the doctors we have today are very good at what they do and very supportive. My prayers go out to you for a positive outcome on this.

    dont need to see a specialist just seeing gp 2 weeks time and see what they say

      when i went for one they wouldnt give me the results over the phone and advised i see a doctor there was nothing wrong when i saw him either so dont read to much into it

    I was same and I was referred to my GP as he asked for the scan and they could not give me the results and it was nothing but scared the out of me so don't cross the bridge till you have to

      yeah she said it was nothing to worry about the receptionist but it's still worrying

    😂 I'm the same they say nothing to worry about and instantly I worry and then by the time I speak to or see the doctor I'm so ill

    I would say don't worry but your probably going to any way and I will say I had a bad result and they rang me instantly

      yes has my last utra sound scan was bad they rang me instantly like the person who firstly commented saying probs just found something slightly on my scan you still worry though
