Vaccine Anxiety

Furthermore, Hi, everyone, I have pretty severe health anxiety and finally made my vaccine appointment for next Wednesday. I’m getting Pfizer. I had Covid-19 this March just before vaccines were available to my age group, and then put off getting it since I was so scared and thought I had some time to play with due to natural antibodies. Furthermore, I am going to go through with getting my shot, but need some reassurance. I’ve read so many things online about people having life-threatening reactions or dying from it, and when you’re in an anxious thought loop, it’s hard to rationalize things. I had an antibody test last week and still have them, and I heard this can make the first dose more of a pain. Can anyone share their experiences with the vaccine? Even though I will still mask up, I want to be able to do things in public again, and I go back to the office in September.
