vagifem and discharge - normal? scared

HI

this is my third post in a week. I started Vagifem 6 days ago because of genitourinary problems. I am beginning to feel a bit better but then today noticed some discharge - enough to stain my underwear ( sorry if too much info)

I had  some bleeding 8 months ago - had a biopsy and womb scarpe as my uterus lining was thin and friable. Everything else was ok. I am now scared that this discharge is a sign of something serious. It isn't a huge amount but I think is slightly yellow/brown - difficult to tell. I am really freaking out and my health anxiety is reaching ridiculous levels again. Please can anyone tell me if they have had this or know if it is likely to be the Vagifem?>

Hi Sue i doubt its the vagifem after only 6 days using them.  I experienced this after several months of using them. Then it turned to blood so was adviced to stop using them which was a shame as they really helped with the dryness etc. I had to have a scan to see if the lining of my womb had thickened .luckily it hadnt. You dont say your age or why you was put in vagifem in the 1st place,  Possibly you would have still had the discharge without using the vagifem, hard to say.  I dont think its the vagifem causing this after such a short time. You could mention this to your gp though. I had a very dark brown discharge once when i had a swab, thought what on earth is that!  but it all came back with clear results which i found strange. Best to get it checked though really.

Hi! I am not a Doctor but I would suggest that you always know what the Doctor gives you. Do a lot of research.   I read up on this and it’s synthetic estrogen, made from chemicals.  I would suggest never taking anything synthetic..

That’s why I take nutrition to balance my hormones.  Seems to be working for me.. I hope you figure it out.
