so i know this title is weird but pls hear me out. I've been suffering from this for years its uncomfortable for me to even wear underwear at this point because of it so i have to wear shorts or something underneath my clothes instead. Sometimes i have to move around when i sit because it like air bubbles out of you're vagina like an everyday thing. It's so uncomfortable and i need help. I went to the hospital yesterday and the doctor they gave me told me it was normal and it happens. But i refuse to go with that answer i need help. Like asap .

Under wear is a issue because we supposed to let our vagina breathe if it don't then our vagina begin to moist which can cause it as well but I read heavy on seasalt baths and goggle it and that drys up dead skin and bacteria out our bodies and refresh it I'm going to do that next I did all the antibiotics already

thanks ! I'll really have to give it a try

what you say makes sense but i dont think it makes a diference. my daughter who has this has always slept without underware and we take epson salt baths often and she still developed this at age 6 and still has it

Try doing the seasalt bath for 20 minutes a day for a week and see what happens between that and acv vinegar baths is my last chance

Have you tried BV gel from the pharmacy/chemist which is said to restore pH balance? In the Uk there are 7 x 5ml applicators in a light green box with an inner white section on this box.

They are crap the gels they once worked many years ago but since this bout 4 years ago they don't touch my bv .

pessary version is better balance active brand like the gels .

is your birth control a coil? When i had my coil BV literally lived in it. When they took it out thats what they told me.

michelle@What you're talking about is something different..if you're actually passing gas (like real farts that stink and everything like from your gastrointestinal tract) you need to go to the doctor and get it checked out because that is pretty much only caused by a fistula (small hollow passageway) developing between your vagina and your rectum or colon which is not good. It is not normal to actually fart through your vagina. I'm sorry i don't mean to scare you or anything I just wanted to make this clear. Luckily vaginal fistulas aren't life threatening or super serious but they do need to be looked at and repaired.

Another idea is to shower with a few drops of tea-tree oil.

what would that do? cancel any smell? help my ph?

yes! I was told by one doctor that she thought they were bladder spasms and that I now have Interstitial cystitis?! she would not listen and said to stop eating spicy stuff and to just live with it. however I do not have any bladder pain or urgency. I did test positive for BV and get the air bubbles though, 2 rounds of antibitocs but still get the vaginal burning and air bubbles. I have been to 4 gynecologists and swear I have lost all confidence in doctors now. so frustrated!

Have they not given you scans? This is normally the proceedure? Could it be a fistula? There are other specialists. Have a rest from frustrations and tackle this again when you are ready. There are other ways to tackle the Medical profession. If you live in the Uk how about emailing your Local Member of Parliament? Other women have had the same problem and have had success by doing this. I understand how frustrating this is having had a few problems myself.

I wonder, have you taken cranberry tablets or the drink of cranberry? I have read this can alleviate or resolve bladder issues. Worth a try. You can buy these in pharmacies or chemists. Have you had the over the counter sachets for cystitis?

As well of course contacting PALS at the hospital that you went to if in the Uk. Tell them you are unhappy and want to get well. If you have another appointment say that you do not have spicy food and still not well.

I have had problems with a gynaecologist and went to PALS. I was offered another appointment.

Do you someone you can go with who is very sensible? As well seeing if you can see the gynae people at the top, the Chief Gynae doctor who knows the answer or can recommend that you can be sent to a professional Medic who can help? There are different fields within the Gynaecology set up.

I was told once that I should increase my vegetable intake from a gynaecologist. I found this information to be less than helpful.

Thank you for the reply, you have been so helpful! They have not done any scans and act as if I am completely crazy when I ask for certain tests. I am in the US, however I am going to start demanding to be listened to and not swept under the rug. I have been so deeply depressed from all of this but am now ready to fight for my health! I do take a daily D-Mannose with cranberry pill, I do believe it helps!

If my memory is right the way forward is first to have a CAT scan. The scan does not always show a hole unfortunately but a hole can be there so do not be upset.

i live in california and have never look towards a higher specialist i dont know if there and available out here. I mentioned fistula to my last appointment and she was quick to shut me down and say thats only if feces came out of the vagina and that isnt my issue. Im just tired of this s**t having such an impact on my life it has made me uncomfortable damn near my entire youth , im currently twenty and i feel like i keep hitting a brick wall when it comes to this issue. What do you recommend i search up first to start the search for correct help? Because they are not helping me at all right now. Me dicine wont help anything but odor for me as i currently have none from the antibiotics that just put me in. I need to be surgically helped because i know this is not normal at all.

this sounds so similar to me, I got BV and then shortly after i started getting vaginal bubbles. I still have them years later and burning, doctors also say its normal but i know its not. Bubbles come when Im walking or sitting down, or if I bend over? ugh

what is BV? my 6 year ild has this issue and i dont know jow to help her

bv is a bacterial infection (bacterial vaginosis) you can find more information on google on it but i dont think it would be that at 6 but you never know. I have not found a solution i think it depends on the day during my cycle how bad it is. I suggest taking an at home ph test to determine is the ph is off that has a lot to do with the bubbles i think(you can get them off amazon fairly cheap) rather than waiting at the doctor (saves time, money, and humility especially at her age). if the ph is off you can tell by the colour I suggest baths with epsom salts to restore it (there is also capsules for ph balance but i dont think shed be comfortable with that). I also suggest probiotics (ones with bacteria for the female reproductive tract rather than general GI tract).

sorry this is so long i know how annoying it is when there is no definitive cause.

also side note but could it be simply her learning her physiology when air gets trapped in the vaginal canal it is normal to have it expelled feeling like bubbles after jumping jacks or anything that pushes air up there

thank you for your reply, hers started when she had a urinery track infection, took antibiotics which then casued a yeast infection abd took medicine for that too.

i dont think its normal because it happens daily several times a day. I think something happened either from the UTI or yeast infection or from the medications.

i will check the ph and get her on the right probiotic and see what happens

ya it def sounds like a ph problem causing the infections that is is unfortunate side effect , im sure probiotics will help tho

My two younger girls have this also. I have also had this since I was young. Ive delt with it my whole life and I just deal with it. I dont think anything can be done. There isnt any odor or sound its just irritating. My bubbles kick up right before my period. Thats how I know its coming. Wish I could give you an answer.
