Vagina + urethral opening became pale and fleshy/cut up?

Posted , 4 users are following.

Both my vaginal opening and urethral opening look very different, they became very pale instead of reddish pink and instead of smooth/round openings the openings look all cut up. The pictures are pretty bad but irl it looks very cut up, there's even an extra cut up fleshy thing on one side which you can't see on the pictures sadly, it was impossible to show it properly on pictures sadly. I did start using tampons some months ago, is it possible I damaged it with tampons with applicators ? What about the pale color? I checked around my period and it was still pale imageimage

Lin you look ok to me. You look as though you may be quite young and as you have started using tampons you have probably broken your hymen and thats the raggedy look. Its totally normal. The paleness could be normal as well as long as you feel OK. However, if you feel tired a lot or if you have heavy periods then you may need a blood test to see if you are a bit anaemic. You would have to see your doctor for that. Overall , dont worry.

Thank you. Do I not have to be worried about the urethral opening looking fleshy like that too? Or the extra bit of flesh far on the side that you can't see on the picture..? I don't really understand where those might have come from. Also I'm nearly 26, don't know if that's considered young still haha

If you feel OK and have no pain or burning, itching, unusual discharge, unusual bleeding I would say you are ok. Vaginas can look very raggedy and fleshy, with odd bits but usually they are nothing to worry about.
