ive tested negative for all stds, except maybe herpes ( i got a low antibody count of 1.37 getting tested again soon but no sores or outbreaks so i dont think thats whats causing the burning) I think i have bv i had the fish smell and green discharge but boric acid helped clear that. But 2 months later and i still have vaginal burning that goes away only when im on my period and comes back worse after im off my period. Antibiotics dont help. Monistat for yeast infection doesnt help either. Im so desperate! Can somebody tell me how to make the burning go away =( other symptoms i have include pelvic pain and pain during sex

Goodmorning dear! Well.. since you are positive for herpes, you may be experiencing an internal outbreak.. all your symptoms sound like that can be a possibility. you cant see it because its deep inside the vaginal canal somewhere, maybe the cervix or walls.... not everyone can see their outbreaks. you also could have mirco-lesions... sores so tiny u cant see them but they are super irritating. it takes a while to know your body.

most likely your antibodies are low because its a newer infection. it takes time for antibodies to build up. herpes is not nearly as scary as the stigma attached to it. its controllable. i have had herpes the past 5 years... you can definately live with and control it and people will still love you and guys will still want to be with you.

okay thanks for answering my questions. i have an appointment with a dr soon and will swab me down there to be sure. How long will the burning last for? I got it the burning around march, when i was like 30 seconds into having sex with the guy i had to make him stop since it hurt and since then is hasnt stopped. I got tested for herpes through an online service like the first days of may. Wouldnt the antibody count be higher since it had already been about 2 months with the symptoms?

the burning can be from a yeast infection also...or bv... seeing a doctor is important. you are positive for herpes but it dont got to be the cause of the burning

Following my first and only herpes outbreak I had burning and itching on and off for 7 months. I ignored it for a few months assuming it was herpes and my body adjusting. Finally went to the doctor and I ended up having BV and a Yeast infection. (If you havent been tested for these, disregard the rest of my message because there is a 90% chance its from this. I did the boric acid too and it cleared the discharge but not the infection itself. You likely need strong antibiotics or yeast medicine)
Treatment from the doctor apparently cleared my infections up but didnt help the itching, it would still come and go. It was so difficult because everytime I would experience it, I would call the doctor who would get me in the following week, but by then it would feel better and I would test negative for everything. I went to the doctors 7 times and only the first time came back with a diagnosis. Eventually I just kept calling my doctor and we agreed to give me oral medication to keep at home and self treat for BV and Yeast with.. I never really ended up having to do this because because it randomly just stopped. 7 months post diagnosis I went into one of my "remissions" and the itching never returned... My doctor promised me it wasnt a result of the herpes. However, I think that the stress of my diagnosis and maybe even the virus itself threw my body out of whack and I couldnt recover from the PH imbalance and my healthy bacteria couldnt thrive. I made a lot of life style adjustments that seemed to help. I wont bore you with these, but if you end up needed some advise feel free to message me!
