Vaginal cuff repair

Hi, am 16 days post OP from a laproscopic hysterectomy. on day 13 some stitches in my vaginal cuff came apart near a blood vessel and I started to bleed out. I was luckily very close to the hospital otherwise I may have lost my life. I had to have a blood transfusion and surgery to repair the cuff. has anyone else had their cuff tear or open? if so what helped or is helping with getting past the fear of it happening again? I'm afraid everytime I get up to pee or if I sneeze or cough it's going to reopen.

    Im sure if you take things easy and not do any straining it will all heal.

    I really shouldn't see why it would open again if it w as stitched up correctly.

    Rest and relax is the best remedy.xx
