Vaginal Dryness

i am a 44 year old woman suffering with vaginal dryness for 2 years. I am sick of being told I am too young for the menopause and not taken seriously at my doctors. I've tried one prescription vaginal cream, can't remember what it is called, you're meant to use it every few days but in order it to work for me I had to use it every day...got a bit tired of it and paying so much for prescriptions due to being restricted to two tubes per prescription...I have since tried everything from the chemist, nothing works I am a walking sandpit. To top it off I also have BV, and finally after many failed home remedies just started taking the antibiotics...I am constantly uncomfortable and shy away from sex. I am looking for any guidance you ladies can give me. I am desperate and feel very lonely

The guidance I have for you Jennifer is be your own health advocate. If one medication doesn't work talk to your Dr. about your concerns. I empathize with you tremendously. I am currently in the same boat as you are. So many vaginal/bladder symptoms, not enough answers. But, I refuse to walk away from a follow up visit with Dr. without asking questions. Which reminds me I have a follow up appointment and I'm educating myself about Vaginal Atrophy- I suspect that is what i am stricken with; currently perimenopausal. So will have enough information to discuss with Dr.
