Did the blood appear after a "pushing too hard" episode? i.e. are you sure it was vaginal blood? Could be from haemmeroids...(which is terrible spelled!)

I had a posterior prolapse repair on 22 Sept with 2 emergency surgeries in quick succession because of severe bleeding.  I was told to use Fibogel, Lactalose, Senokot, anything that is going to keep your stools soft to avoid any straining and pushing. Even now 4 weeks on I'm still taking the Fibogel twice a day and Senokot at night.

    Hope you feel better soon.
