I now have alongside my anterior repair I'm needing a hysterectomy due to my cervix saying hi 1 cm from entrance on bearing down. I am due to go into a private hospital on Monday. I will be having a re anterior repair and vaginal hysterectomy, keeping ovaries but already done meno5 years ago,I'm now age 50😱. Still slim and very health conscious. Please can anyone let me know what the pain is like when I come around. Does it feel like you have done a million sit-ups or worse? I'm getting very very nervous. Hello to anyone that remembers me..matron was my angel🙏🙏 positive healing allxx

    Hello Welshgirl I remember you,

I had that op in 2013 & didn’t really have any pain. The journey home was uncomfortable but after that just had the occasional painkiller. Matron hasn’t been on for almost a year. Wishing you well. X

Just 2 nights. I would ask for something stronger for the journey home, I did for my recent op and it was only a 20 minute journey! It felt much more comfortable and once you get home you can relax. X
