Vaginal Itching returning every month- but no thrush?!

I have been suffering with what i suspected was thrush a few days before my period each month for three months. I decided to go to my gp and get a swab test to make sure it was thrush and no an STI.

To my surprise the test came back negative for Chlamydia, gonorrhoea, tritch, BV and thrush(yeast).

i am still experiencing bad vaginal itching but no pain when peeing.

what could be wrong?

    Honestly Im not too sure what it could be. Your PH might be messed up. I would advise wearing 100% cotton panties (granny panties) and try to lay off thongs and lace underwear. Also get something that will balance the PH in your body and pee like Citro-Soda if its available in your country. Wash your vag with warm water.

    also many women complain of vaginal itching before their period so I guess it "normal"
