Vaginitis? Vaginal discomfort started a few days ago and urethral discomfort too *graphic*

Hi everyone,

I've had a really irritated vagina since yesterday and what felt like the beginning of a UTI (pressure in the abdomen, feeling like I need to pee after having peed) and I was searching up what it may be and apparently it could be vaginitis. I've added a pic below of what it looks like if someone could give some insight that would be great! My vagina looked redder in part to me and a little inflamed. !image

    Hello, zn

It does look like vulvovaginitis. This could have many causes, from imbalances to vaginal flora to fungal or bacterial infections, even allergic reactions. Did anything different happen prior to the beginning of symptoms - use of medication (antibiotics) , changes in the products or the way you clean your vulva, etc. Of course, STIs could not be rulled out. More information could help.

      Hi,

I had an STI test done after the last time I had sex the only real change I'd made is to use canesten because I had a lump near my clitoris which my doctor had prescribed me to use- she'd looked at it and said it was a blocked pore of sorts. But I'd used that for a bump prior and it hadn't caused this problem. Could it be that acting as an irritant? I have a sneaky suspicion it may be a yeast infection because I noted a white creamy discharge but didn't think it was an issue because it hadn't been a lot and the spots I'd mentioned before had been giving me an itch but may be it may actually be the result of yeast.
