Vagus nerve damage?

Hi everyone.

I am in a need of advice. My personal status is not very good and has not been for the past 8 years. I am 30 now. Currently trying to figure out the culprit of my issues is. Thinking it has something to do with the Vagus nerve.

Following symptoms,

Chronic constipation, very little flow.

Depersonalization.

No feeling of hunger, what taste good or bad, no appetite or thirst. Hunger can last for 15 seconds, sometimes.

No satiety after meals or feeling of fullness.

No rest-and-digest mode.

Delayed gastric emptying.

No “sleepy” feeling at night, only mental alert or mental fatigue.

Difficulty swallow, and drinking water etc.

Difficulty speaking, have to push words out.

Difficulty expressing facial emotions. Difficulty in social bonding with others.

Weak heart, slow pulse.

Brain fog.

Unable to vomit.

Tightness in the neck.

Not feeling “in” the body or very connected to the body physically. Somewhat “lack” of stimulation to feel connected and to be in “flow” with the physical world and with the flow of time. Yet stimulation through any kind of screen makes it worse. It doesn´t connect to a deeper level. Coffee seems to help but just the amount of time there is a high. Caffeine is hard on my adrenals. Hard to relax at a deep level even when body and mind is as relaxed it can through for example meditation. Hard to make decisions and think or feel very much when being somewhat out of phase with everything. Every chore and happening gets little anxious to cope with, in some odd way, where every moment feel like a struggle to survive.

There´s few clues.

First clue: I visited a Shaman and was told the problem is the connection between the brain and the gut, that it does not get the information needed. That most issues here was a nerve miss-information and is all connected. The shaman gave me medicine for neurons. Was also treated with a herb called Ortiga, with smacking the stinging stem on my neck which in return releases Acetylcholine in the blood which is the main Vagal neurotransmitter. Felt better immediately.

Second clue: Have recently bought a PEMF device to stimulate the Vagus nerve on my neck. Have only had the device for a few days, but seem to temporally help with the depersonalization as described above, and is somewhat calming, but that´s all. It does not address the issue and it seems to numb my analytical thinking. However, it does do something and that´s a start.

I have been at the doctor for stomach issues some time back. They pressed on my stomach and listened to it, said everything looked good and directed me to a dietist.

Third clue: I have had Craniosacral Therapy at one time, they told me there the nerves and the back of my head was tight and thus signals weak. This is also how it feels, somewhat tight.

Fourth clue: Have visit a doctor who pressed very, very hard on certain spots on the body and the head, which temporally gave relaxation at a deep level and a feeling of being “in” the body.

Am asking here for any advice based on this information. Any input is much appreciated. I wonder if there´s a pinched nerve or if there´s something more to it all.

Thanks for reading.
