Vagus nerve problems

Hi. i had big op in 2018 to repair hiatus hernia. Few weeks later had continual diarrhea and was housebound for 4 months. Consultantsaid vagus nerve probablydamaged when moving it out of the way during op. Diarrhea started to ease off gradually but over the 4 tears I have lost almost 5 st in weight and am still having problems.

Current symptoms are..

Adrenaline rush

Fast heartbeat

Feel shaky and weak

Diarrhea starts

Also.

Never hungry

No food appeals to me

Very little taste

Heartburn every day

Wonder who i should go to for help. Neurologist? Dietitian?

Anyone here had similar problems?

    hello pippins, sorry to read your story. I dont have any experience of the problems you're having but i do have my own health issues.

    Have you tried a Endocrinologist?
