After a set of traumatic life events, I stupidly turned to diazepam to help me get through. I took them for about a month. Now I want to get off them! I have pills enough to taper down from 60mg to 5mg in 5mg weekly steps, but is this too fast? How will I know if I am suffering from withdrawal? Help, please!

ideally you should reduce by one milligram per 2/3 weeks minimum
i can only suggest you come clean and tell your GP the truth and ask for help ...

im currently on a diazepam taper too. How are you getting on. Jo x
