Varicocele embolisation anyone had one done?

Guys - had a varicocele embolisation performed a bit over three months ago. Anyone else had this performed? Any luck with it?

    I had one done, my surgery was called ignal bilateral surgery or somthing where they made a small cut in my lower abdomen and tied off the varicose veins on my left side. This happened about 7 months ago and the surgery didnt help with the pain. What are the reason for your surgery did you have pain ?

      I had it done for fertility. Also didn't help. What sort of pain are you having? Have you had a follow up ultrasound? It might be worthwhile getting this done to see if there is still reflux occurring. They can ultrasound the testes and also the gonadal vein to check how much function remains in the vein and if there is reflux.

      my experience hasn't been a good one with the embolisation so keen to hear how others have got on with all of this.
