Vein pain in forearm when lifting, help

Posted , 2 users are following.

when i am at the gym doing exercises like lat pulldown, or anything that requires my hands gripping round something and pulling it, i get this horrible feeling in my left forearm, the same sensation of when you hit your funny bone, except it feels like its coming from one of the bigger veins in my forearm, and it happens every rep, it ruins the exercise and i cannot never lift as much as i could without this problem, what is this? and how can i fix it?

i think you are talking about an inflamed muscle and not a vein. probably the one attached to your Humerus. You may even have tiny tears in the muscle from over stressing. You probably need to ice and rest for a while then try building up again, but when the pain starts you should stop .
